The Elements - Process
#1 Design Your Own RAPOD
You can either use the Design Your Own RAPOD program on our website or contact RAPOD direct to discuss your requirements or book an appointment with the team in Solihull. You can also view & choose the options to make your RAPOD unique to you.
From this preliminary design an initial guideline price will be given and the quotation can be discussed with you to ensure you are completely happy.
#2 Site Survey
Our commitment to quality extends to the quality of service you receive from us. It is important to us that you are completely happy with everything about your RAPOD. Our customer service team will arrange the site survey and will then explain the process from this point through to completion of your order. One of the ways in which we ensure the finished RAPOD is of the highest build quality is to ensure we conduct a detailed survey of the site on which the pod is to be built. A member of our team will visit the location for your RAPOD to discuss your requirements and to ensure all special considerations are taken into account. If you are unable to visit our show pod, we can bring along materials and colour samples for you to look at before you make your final design choices.
#3 Detailed Quotation
Following the results of the site survey a detailed quotation will be provided to you, including a specification which will breakdown all design choices, costs and considerations.
#4 Quotation Reassessment & Deposit
Following the results of the site survey a detailed quotation will be provided to you, including a specification which will breakdown all design choices, costs and considerations. Payment details will be provided and your deposit will be required. This comes with deposit protection, please contact the Consumer Protection Association for more information.
We will arrange with you when you would like your RAPOD to be installed. Please allow on average a 6-8 week lead time.
Depending on the size and complexity of your RAPOD, it will be installed in as little as a week, causing you a minimal amount of disruption. Our wall, floor and roof panels are pre-assembled to a factory standard finish and so arrive ready to be fixed into place. The electric system is pre-installed into the wall panels (so no visible wiring), it is simply clicking together as the pod is constructed.
There are no wet trades on site; we do not offer plaster boarding as the natural movement that is inherent within a timber building will inevitably lead to significant cracking.
All you have to do then is enjoy your new RAPOD! We will give you access to a unique section on our website specific to your build, this is where payment, specification and important certification documents are the always available for your personal viewing.
